About
Have you been through difficult experiences that continue to affect you, even when you wish you could move on? Perhaps you struggle with anxiety, painful memories or feeling constantly on edge. You might find yourself overthinking, feeling disconnected from the people you love, or simply getting through each day without feeling able to enjoy life as you once did.
I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2003 and have over 15 years of NHS experience in addition to my experience in private practice. I offer compassionate, individual therapy for adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and other emotional difficulties. I believe that our past experiences can shape how we feel about ourselves and the world around us, but they don’t have to define our future. My aim is to help you feel understood, make sense of what you’ve been through and find a way forward that feels right for you.

Services
Following a client-led initial assessment, I offer individual psychological therapy informed by the most up-to-date research and evidence base, as recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines. Sessions last 50 minutes.
Based in Guildford, I provide services as a Clinical Psychologist in Surrey in-person, and online.
The main therapeutic approaches I use include Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Mindfulness-Based Approaches. My work is also informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as systemic and solution focused therapy models.
